Rich is a veteran reporter and writer with more than two decades of experience, including more than 12 years covering the manufacturing sector for The Milwaukee Business Journal, where he also covered the airline industry and labor issues. His extensive reporting experience also includes covering professional and college sports as a stringer for the Associated Press Sports bureau in Milwaukee and working as a freelance writer for a variety of local and statewide publications.
In his role with the WMEP, Rich develops press releases, articles, blogs, success stories and case studies for the organization’s website, monthly newsletter and partner publications. He is highly active using social media to highlight news critical to manufacturers in Wisconsin. He is based in the WMEP’s downtown Milwaukee office.
Rich and his wife, Ann, live in Wauwatosa with their two rambunctious tuxedo cats, Eleanor (a boy) and Yogi (a girl)…long story. After work hours, Rich plays softball and basketball, goes out to see live music as much as possible and covers the Milwaukee Brewers, the Milwaukee Bucks and other professional and college sports as a freelance writer for the Associated Press.
