Advanced Materials Industry Consortium (AMIC)

The Advanced Materials Industry Consortium (AMIC) is a group of industry and academic researchers in the advanced materials and manufacturing sectors interested in enhancing innovation efforts by leveraging the combined resources of the University Wisconsin-Madison and industry.

The AMIC also serves as the Madison chapter of the Regional Materials and Manufacturing Network (RM2N), a gateway to tap into materials expertise and instrumentation at the various UW System Universities. We facilitate, and can coordinate, interactions between industry engineers and subject matter experts at the University, but also serve as a conduit for student internships/Co-ops, senior capstone projects, and fund student projects that have an industrially relevant topic.
