Front Line Leader Skill Development – TWI – Training Within Industry

Front Line Leader skill development is an essential element of Lean and Continuous Improvement programs around the world including the Toyota Production System. Through the TWI approach it provides a foundation for fostering organizational excellence and transforming business culture.

Training Within Industry (TWI) consists of four standardized programs addressing the essential skills needed by supervisors, team leaders, and trainers: Job Instruction (JI), Job Relations (JR), Job Methods (JM) and Job Safety (JS). Training can be delivered in both English and Spanish.

Take-Aways: Leverages the role of front-line leaders by providing the skills needed to succeed resulting in:

• Standardized Work
• Reduced Training Time
• Increased Productivity & Quality
• Improved Morale
• Ensures Worker Safety
• Solves Problems

Join us for this webinar to learn how  WMEP can help your organization produce a dynamic TWI program of hands-on learning and practice and teach the essential skills for supervisors, team leaders, and anyone who directs the work of others.

The effectiveness and retention of training increases significantly when the material is applied soon after instruction. Each TWI program is delivered in five, 3 to 4 hour sessions. After the daily session, trainees return to the workplace to use the techniques learned and choose real-life examples to discuss and practice in class.

Manufacturing Voices 2022 – Waukesha County Business Alliance

This annual program brings together manufacturers and business leaders to engage in dialogue about issues pertinent to manufacturing. A panel of manufacturing executives will discuss workforce, attracting and retaining talent, automation, company culture, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from some of our county’s leading manufacturing executives.

You want to increase profits and drive success. We want to create an environment that enables you to do that. Let’s work together.

As a private, member-driven organization, the Waukesha County Business Alliance has been the voice of business since 1918. We have a broad and diverse membership representing everything from sole proprietorships to some of the largest employers in the region from a variety of industries. We work to strengthen the economy in the county through four pillars: advocate, develop, network and promote.
