Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) Training – 3 Day Program
M3 Insurance is offering a two and half day seminar on training to meet the “Preventive Controls Qualified Individual” (PCQI) requirement under Subpart C – Hazard Analysis and Risk-based Preventive Controls [§ 117.126 Food Safety Plan]. Lunch and continental breakfasts will be provided.
Program Schedule:

Thank you for your interest in our New North Summit which was originally planned for March 11th.  We know our annual summit is an event that our stakeholders look forward to for enriched in-person networking and regional updates.  While we are thankful for the progress that is being made to beat COVID, having our summit in-person on March 11th is not possible.  Therefore, we are excited to announce that our summit will actually occur over three virtual events and the large in-person event at Lambeau Field.  We will be  sending out additional information as each event is finalized, but I ask you to mark your calendars for the following important dates and times:

What really goes on behind the scenes during a food recall?  Which regulatory agencies are involved?  Recalls can often be times of indecision and outright panic.  A well informed team can sometimes avert a disaster.  Is your team ready?

We’ll explore what happens during a recall from the time you are informed of a problem to the disposition of the affected product.  We’ll discuss what decisions need to made, who needs to make them, and what information they’ll need.

You’ll also learn how product recall insurance can play a role in helping your company recover from the expenses and brand damage caused by a recall.

Peg Dorn brings over twenty years of experience in the food industry as a Quality Systems Manager.  Duties included performing internal auditing, writing SOPs, writing an approving corrective actions, preparing export documentation, and participation in food and pharmaceutical audits. Peg spent two years as a third party auditor for NSF international.

She has performed certification and non-certification audits for a variety of food companies including dairy, meat, confectionary, ingredients, cold storage, food contact packaging, and others. Austen Gross, Beckhoff Automation – Austen brings knowledge from a career in OEM control electronic supply both on the sales and engineering front. Austen has taken on a wide array of roles during his time in the automation industry that range from controls architecture development, coordinated motion programming, on-site commissioning and factory integration to business development and project management at the Fortune 100 level. As an OEM supplier, he has had experience in a variety of industries that include large scale mining operations, metal fabrication, bottling, medical devices and building automation to name a few.
