Secrets of Successful Negotiations
Skilled negotiators are deliberate communicators who do not concede under pressure. Instead, they are masterful at turning adversity into agreement. They know that every move that they make conditions the other party how to negotiate with them. For example, if they bow under pressure, they teach the other party to use strong-arm tactics to get what they want. If they speak before thinking, they teach the other party to flood them with information before a critical deadline.
In this session, Christine McMahon will reveal the most important strategies for mastering a wide variety of negotiating situations.
By participating in this program, you will learn how to:
- Successfully prepare for a negotiation in order to strengthen your position while minimizing risk
- Create common ground and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Maximize profit potential by both giving and getting concessions
- Recognize different negotiating strategies and how to be prepared with the right counter-move
- Break-through an impasse
