Is Your Company Ready for DOD’s New Cybersecurity Requirements?
The deadline for your company to comply with the NIST SP 800-171 requirements has long passed. The next step in the Department of Defense (DOD) efforts to safeguard data and require NIST standards compliancy is coming in 2021.
This program is the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) model and it will require Cybersecurity audits and certification for all DOD contractors that process, transmit or store Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). The Model will identify five levels of data security base on NIST SP 800-171 and other guidance.
In this FREE webinar, you will learn about the DOD’s pilot program that is starting in 2020 and will test this new cybersecurity maturity model. This pilot is expected to assess 15 DOD contracts which will include up to 700 suppliers across the U.S.
