MSOE’s Bachelor of Business Administration in Technical Sales degree was developed as part of a proprietary transfer agreement between MSOE and WTCS (Wisconsin Technical College System). This agreement delivers a unique career opportunity for students with a technical Associate in Applied Science (AAS). Students can transfer from a WTCS school to MSOE with junior standing and complete a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Technical Sales degree in about 2 years. More information.
The technical sales curriculum was built from the ground up, factoring in needs from partner companies, the marketplace and industry advisors. MSOE instructors have deep industry experience and bring a wealth of real-world examples, industry-based case studies, best practices, and productivity tools to the classes. Students acquire key technical selling knowledge and skills through classes in Psychology of Selling, Networking and Prospecting, Sales Process and Pipeline, Sales Forecasting and Metrics, Communication, and Presentation Skills.
We also created a two-day technical sales workshop to address professionals already out in industry to grow or skill up their teams. This workshop leverages most of the core tech sales curriculum but is enhanced to better meet the needs of an existing salesperson. It introduces and trains sales teams on the tools, best practices and sales knowledge needed to help move them to the next level in their technical sales journey. More information.
