New Next Generation Manufacturing Study Results

The American Small Manufacturers Coalition released the 2011 Next Generation Manufacturing Study on October 19, 2011.  This study updates the findings of the 2009 study of manufacturers nationwide.

The 2011 study is the result of a nationwide survey of 800 manufacturers.

The following documents provide a comparative analysis of the Wisconsin survey provides a comparative analysis of the results from the two surveys.

2011 NGM Wisconsin Research Reports

  • 2011 Wisconsin Next Generation Manufacturing Executive Summary
    Explores a subset of the 2011 NGM Study - just the 95 survey resondents from Wisconsin.  This summary compares Wisconsin's results to both the 2011 national results as well as findings from the very first NGM study conducted - a 2008 survey of 531 Wisconsin manufacturers.
