The Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership (WMEP) and the Northwest Wisconsin Manufacturing Outreach Center (NWMOC) are currently accepting applications to the Profitable Sustainability Initiative. Launched in May 2010 with 50 pilot participants, the PSI program has demonstrated the significant cost and environmental benefits that can be realized by small and midsized manufacturers through the application of sustainable business practices.
To apply for participation in Phase II of the program, complete the online application below. Upon submission, a copy of the completed form will be sent to you at the email address provided.
Sustainable manufacturing, as defined by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), is “to reduce the intensity of materials use, energy consumption, emissions and the creation of unwanted by-products, while maintaining or improving the value of products to society and organizations.”
