  2. Nonattendance and Transfers
You can send someone else instead of attending yourself at no extra cost. You can also request to switch to another WMEP event, but availability isn’t guaranteed, and additional charges may apply. Missed sessions won’t be refunded.
  3. Participant Contact
By registering, you agree to let us and event-associated companies contact you for event-related reasons. Your contact details may be shared with sponsors and other attendees for networking purposes. If you don’t want this, let us know during registration.

Photography and Video Policy for In-Person Events

At WMEP Manufacturing Solutions (Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership – WMEP), we understand the importance of respecting the privacy of our event attendees while capturing moments that help showcase our events and activities. This policy outlines how we handle photography and video recording during our in-person events hosted or organized by WMEP.

  1. Consent and Notice
By participating in our events, attendees acknowledge and agree that WMEP may capture photographs, videos, or audio recordings during the event. Attendees grant WMEP the right and permission to use these materials for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to website content, social media, marketing materials, and publications, without further consent or notification.
  2. Opt-Out and Requests
Attendees who prefer not to be photographed or recorded should notify event organizers or staff on-site. WMEP will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these requests, although complete avoidance of being included inadvertently in photographs or videos may not always be feasible in crowded event spaces.
  3. Use of Media
Photographs, videos, and audio recordings taken at our events are the property of WMEP. We retain the right to use, reproduce, distribute, and display these materials for promotional purposes. Attendees understand that their likeness or voice may appear in these materials and waive any rights or claims for compensation for such use.
  4. Third-Party Photographers and Videographers
WMEP may engage third-party photographers or videographers to capture moments during events. These photographers or videographers may also have their own privacy policies governing the use of media they capture.
  5. Questions and Contact Information
If attendees have any concerns, questions, or requests regarding the use of their images or recordings, they can contact WMEP using the information provided on our website.
  6. Updates to Policy
