WMEP is an affiliate of NIST’s Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), a national network of 59 centers that provide assistance to small and midsize manufacturers.
For the past 20 years, the MEP has worked with manufacturers to realize cost savings, new sales, and retained sales. The MEP system produces more than $1.4 billion in cost savings and $9.1 billion in increased or retained sales annually. MEP provides companies with services and access to public and private resources that enhance growth, improve productivity, and expand capacity.
MEPs work together to help regional and national manufacturers achieve their goals through the Accelerate Supply Chain Advantage program. Accelerate helps suppliers to large companies improve their quality, consistency and on-time delivery to meet the rigorous standards set by their customers.
Find out how WMEP and CIRAS, (the Iowa MEP) worked together to help a large Wisconsin-based OEM facilitate improvements in it’s Cedar Rapids supplier
