VALUE STREAM MAPPING OF A COMPLETE PRODUCT

In this workshop, participants used the actual Indented Bill of Routings for an industrial weighing scale to teach the step-by-step implementation of this new computer-aided method. Attendees learned how to integrate mapping and flow visualization software tools with production schedules and project planning software tools, as well as how to combine the improvement strategies of Lean with software tools to re-engineer an existing facility layout.
